The fishing the last two days has been great. Fishing for marlin on Tuesday was former major league pitcher Jim Dougherty, his mom Elaine, and good friend Sean. The day didn't start out great but we ahd a great finish going 6 for 11 on the whites and only fishing until 1:00 pm before heading home. All of the anglers did a great job. Jim fishes with the same vigor that he brought to baseball. He has got game. On Wednesday my charter wanted to try for tuna, though the fish were not to be found anywhere on Tuesday. Off we went to the south. No bites as we worked our way to the north. We did managed to catch a sailfish around the POINT. We continued our march northward and about 11:30 the whole spread of baits were gobbled up by a nice school of tunas. We landed 6 fifty pounders. My mate quickly re-rigged all of the baits and I made another pass over that same spot and were rewarded with 5 more nice tuna. With 11 fish in the box the lid would not close. I trolled further north where we encountered 2 more tunas. That was enough and we headed to the dock. Super job Wayne. I have several days available for next week. Call me and let's get in on the action. Capt. Dick
