Bad weather continues to plague our fleet. Here it is Friday and we haven't been able to fish since last Sunday. It looks like right now it will be This Sunday at the earliest before we will be able to get in the ocean again. We will be looking for the bluefins. Hope they are ready to bite. I am ready to feed them!.
I will be hauling the boat out of the water the 24 th of March for spring cleaning and maintenace. We look to be up for about 3 weeks. Call me if you would like to fish before that.
Just to let everyone know I will have a new mate for the coming season. He is one of the fleets young guns and is charged up and ready to go. He name is Jack Graham. The young man already has lots of experience, having fished here, Hatteras, the Cape Verdis Islands, and 2 seasons on the reef in Australia. I am looking forward to having him aboard the FINTASTIC. We also sorry to see my former mate Pete leave. Wish him all the best. I am sure you will see him on the dock somewhere. Good mates are always in demand.
