Well, after two hours on the phone with my inter net provider I am now back online once again. Lost internet for the entire weekend. Saturday Drs. Tony Z and Assama fished with us. The day started out pretty nice until we arrived at the fishing grounds then the wind decided to blow about 25 out of the north northwest. This made the conditions a little Choppy. It took awhile but we finally located some fish but unfortunately we had bad luck with them. Out of 15 tuna bites a mako and a dolphin bite we only landed 4 tuna. I think the rough conditions played a part in the faile hookups. No complaints from our guests. They are a really good group of guys.
Sunday we were part of Ray Kerbers group. He brings down a big group of guys and charter a large number of boats. Thanks for the bussiness Ray. We had anothe nice ride out and then once again about the tiome we set out here comes the wind again. Choppy once again. Fishing started slow and then really oicked up. Giant blue fins yellow fins, dolphin and mako sharks were on the agenda. We weren't able to land one of the giant. We fought one for an hour and a half and just couldn't budge him on the tackle we hooked him on so finslly we put so much pressure on the line we broke the fish off. Let me try him on a 130 class reel. We would have broken his neck. We did end up with 5 yellow fins and 3 gaffer dolphin and a 120 lb mako shark. Not too bad a day.
The fishing is really starting to heat up so if your looking to book a boat now is a good time to go fishing. Just give me a call.
