The last two days have been an interesting contrast. On Friday I had my great charter Bill Davis and his crew and we got the big skunky. We had our chances at a really nice school of blufins all to ourselves and could not get a single bite out of them. What a bummer! Then we found a really nice school of porpoise all to our selves with nice tuna marks under them and no bites. It just wasn't meant to be. This left a bad taste in our mouths. Saturday morning Pete and I had blood in our eyes and were determined to not let that skunk get us today. We had only been fishing about 10 minutes when we hooked our first blufin, which we kept. A 63 incher. Perfeect!!! We had good action on the blufins all day. We released a nice one that would have topped the scales at over three hundred pounds. Wtg Austin! There were fish around all day. We even caught a couple of yellowfins to go with it. Hats off to the Sartin family for changing our luck! Alright, I am going to haul the boat out for our spring maintenace the middle of the week so if you want to get in on this action give us a call.
