Today we had Charles Spruil and his friends fishing with us. The day started off good,we were able to fish in the gulfstream for a while before it got to rough and the grass got so scattered you just couldn't fish there any more. The crew fished hard and brought 13 gaffers to the boat. I am telling you this crowd was ready to catch fish. If a pin popped they were in the chair ready to go. When we left the gulfstream and started fishing in the cooler water a tuna bite stated above us about 4 miles. I trolled up there and every few minutes one of the boats would get hit by the tuna. I trolled around that area 3and half hours and had one tuna bite. My anglers had great attitudes and were very understanding. Thanks guys, I will do better next time. That's the hardest thing for us to understand, how you can ride around the boats getting strikes and come up empty handed. I don't like it one bit at all. Well thats all for now. I am going turkey hunting the next couple of days, wish me luck. Capt. Dick
