Yahoo!!! The tuna are still biting. After beating our way to the fishing grounds against a strong south swell the tuna were waiting for us. One line out and one tuna on. They were cahsing the flying fish again today. It is an awesome site to see these fish chase down the the flyers. I wish everyone could experience this part of our fishery. We caught eight of the yellow, black and silver missiles before we switched over to the kite. Then it was game on. You couldn't get the yummy flying fish in the air before the tuna were jumping after them. It really is an exciting way to catch tuna! George Searduk, a friend of mine from college fished with us today and did an outstanding job of reeling in the 50 lb class tunas to the boat. WTG! Hope to see you again next year George.
Looks like the weather is going to wash out the weekend. Bummer with the great fishing were having. Anyway I still have days available next month. Give me a call. You might just get the oportunity to see the tunas chasing the flying fish.
