This report is a day late. Sorry our intenet has been down until this afternoon. Better late than never. I had Dave Bell and friends today. Dave comes with his dad every year in June for a couple of days. Today he brought friends from a wedding this past week for a trip. The deceision was made to try for the tunas. So off we went. Fishing was slow for most of the day as we were able to only pick up 5 tunas in the fifty pound class. That would have been great if the blackfins had bitten along with them as they have the past couple of days, but they were a no show. We did have five wahoo bites but didn't land any of them as the cut the leaders in two. At the end of the day I ask the guys if they wanted to run in and look for some dolphin and they agreed to give it a try. I ran in and 20 mile off the beach I found some eel grass and the first bed we came to was loaded with nice school dolphin. We quickly caught our limit and I called in another boat and they were able to limit out also. The captain called me and said they were just as many fish there when he left as there when he started. That was a big school of fish. That really helped end the day. Tomorrow is going to be a wash with the weather so I will not report again until Sunday. Next week I don't have a day available until Thursday. Give me a call and lets go fishing. By the way, the sailfishng was great as boats fishing for them caught as many as fifteen. That's world class fishing! Capt Dick
