Today we headed back down to the south to try for the blackfin tunas. When we turned to head out the inlet I didn't know if we would be able to make down that way , the swell was big and it was choppy. Fortunately for us the further we traveled the calmer it got. When we arrived on the fishing grounds the tuna were biting. Bad news was so were the bonitas. We used more than a half a case of ballyhoos to scrap out a good catch of the blackfins. On the way home the wind had diminished. out and about twenty miles off the beach a small tideline had formed. I turned down it and spotted a school of dolphin. We got out the lite tackle and the fish were hungry. We caught almost forty in a short time and picked up and headed back to the inlet. Ending a great day.
I have Friday open the week give me a call.
