The cold front that was prdicted has arrived. The tops of the trees are swaying back and forth. I guess that is a sign that the wind is blowing. The direction is out of the northwest. Good for the stripers as they move south. I hope to see them moving this direction after this cold spell. They have reached the bay and some reports of a few fish at Cape Henry.
Its a little blustery to be offshore for the next few days. Good news! The dredge is woking at the inlet and says he has six feet of water in the main span. I haven't been thru yet so I can't verify that but it would be good news.
Last shot of the stream looked like it was in good position to harvest some tunas. Anyone looking for a little sushi or a nice Christmas present for a family member or friend give me a call. Last January was a great month for yellowfins and the giant bluefins.
I am now taking reservations for the 2013 fishing season. The cost of an offshore trip will remain the same at $1700.00. There will be a fuel sur charge if the price rises above $4.00 a gallon. Call your senator and tell him to stop the insane way the oil companies and the commodidies traders keep the price of oil at such a high rate. It's time the people had a voice in this. Sorry about using my web site for political avenue, but we have got to do something about these fuel prices!
Hope everyone has a HAPPY HOLIDAY season!

Be Safe,

Capt. Dick
