A happy April Fools Day to everyone. No boats fished out of OIFC yesterday. Saturday was a different story. With the calm weather and clear skies there were a lot of boats fishing. There were a lot more boats out fishing than there were fish caught. We saw lots of tunas but they had there lips sewn shut. We managed to get one really nice bite on a fish but the leader broke. Hard to believe it being it was a 200 lb leader. I guess that's why they call it fishing. There was a fish brought in that weighed in at over 500 lbs. A true giant! These fish should be around for another two weeks before they start north. Give me a call if you crave a shot at these giant fish.
