What a beautiful day on the gulfstream! No wind! The day started off great with calm seas and and an inlet that didn't have six foot breakers rolling across it. When we arrived at the gulfstream with high hopes of the tuna filling the box, there was a slight disappointment. No tuna bites. Now where did those rascals get off to? Oh well, there were gaffer dolphins to take there place. A great replacement. The dolphin on light tadkle really are fun. A 15 lb dolphin on light takle will give anyone all they can handle as they peform their acrobatic leaps around the boat. Once we completed the dolphin mambo we set our baits out and tried trolling for the tuna. How they are able to dissapear overnight I just don't know. We did catch a 52 lb citation wahoo to throw into the mix, which put up a very thrilling fight. Latter we had a marlin knock out a rigger bait but failed to return to lunch on one of Pete's baits. Next time!
For all of you that have been waiting for the fish to show up, they are here. I have Friday available and a couple of days next week. Give me a call and let's get after these fish.
