One of my old charters returned to the fold today and wanted me to take them dolphin fishing. I plugged my thoughts into the computer and took off for the gulfstream. We started fishing down off of Hatteras along a nice grass line and started catching fish almost immediately! That would soon change when a thudersquall came up. The winds blew the tideline apart and then it becam a srappy ordeal. After having caught about thirty nice dolphin we proceeded offshore to marlin fish, trolling our way to the north. About 25 miles north of us the tuna fishing was heating up. With the current in the gulf stream moving around 4 knots I was making good time heading in that direction. Somewhere close to 2:45 we made to the tuna grounds. It was almost time to head back to the dock. I circled the area for twenty minutes or so and managed to pick up a couple of nice wahoo. One was a citation of 43 lbs. But alas no tuna. It was time to head to the dock. Thanks to Steve Bishop and his friends for finding there way back aboard the FINTASTIC.. See you soon. Capt. Dick
