It was another FINTASTIC day of fishing onboard the FINTASTIC!!! We started the day off headed for the 680 line and soon as we arrived the tuna started to bite. You aer always unsure the day after a hard blow if the fish are going to be in the same place that you left them biting. They left no doubt. They were on top showing themselves. That always makes my job easier. It didn't take long before Pete had the boxed stuffed with the tasty fish. The last time we hit the tunas we caught nine out of ten bites. That was a good average. When we had for home with the box full the charter ask if there were any cobia around. I told them it had been slow the last couple of days, but I would stop at the inlet and look around and see if we might happen upon one. Their luck was good as soon as I slowed down we saw a nice one and threw him the jig. BAM he took it. The fish ended up weighing 86 lbs. The biggest ever caught on the FINTASTIC. We caught 6 more and headed into the dock. Still ariving back at the dock early at 2 o'clock. It truly was a great day of fishing.
I still have some choice July days available. Just give me a call and we will hook you up.
